Euodia and Syntyche

Come on girls, enough is enough!
There's no place for this kind of stuff.
It upsets you, And it bothers me.
I think it's time for you two to agree.

You've worked by my side in a wonderful way.
For the cause of Christ, serving night and day.
Clement! Deacons! Men of great repute,
Step in and end these women's dispute!

You're a church of joy and a place of peace.
It's way past time for this fuss to cease!
The Philippi church is so dear to me.
I hold it up for all folks to see

What Christ can do with a troubled soul,
As He changes his heart to make it whole.
You've a task to do, and a place to be.
Euodia, please? You too, Syntyche!

"I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the book of life." Philippians 4:2-3
