ENOCH

Of all the babies in ages past taking their first breath;
Only two have lived on earth who never did see death.
One of them, Elijah, windblown, soared to God.
Enoch was the other one not buried 'neath the sod.

He's called the seventh son of Adam in his line.
He's in the line of promise of the Son of God divine!
At sixty-five, Methuselah became their first-born son.
His claim to fame was living long; when all is said and done.

The earth was filled with evil; rotten through and through,
But Enoch lived a holy life; to God his heart was true.
Three hundred years he walked with God for all the world to see,
And one day God called out to him, " Enoch! Come home to Me!"

When Jesus comes to earth again; because of His great love,
Those alive, and loving Him, will soar right on above
And join the two who never died; Elijah and Enoch.
That time comes ever closer with each ticking of the clock!
Tick, tock!
Genesis 5:18, 21-24; Luke 3:37; Hebrews 11:5,6; Jude 14-15
