This will be my last blog of this year. Ann and I leave Sunday afternoon for Center Point and on Monday to New Mexico. Next Sunday we meet Lee and Laura and their families for four days of skiing and snow fun at Red River, New Mexico. December 27 will be our fiftieth wedding anniversary. I have been blessed beyond measure to have Agnes Ann Maurer Pogue as wife, mother, nurse, musician, and friend. We feel specially blessed by the Lord to have had half a century together. We have so many great friends, like you, who have made our lives complete.
This is the eightieth BLOG I have written since I started last summer. Thanks to Charles Fake for insisting that I do it.We wish for each of you a joyful Christmas, not from gifts but from His Gift. Not from wrappings, but from His wrapping an arm of love around each of us. Not from presents, but His presence guiding us and giving to all who ask....life eternal. A better gift than that? None.
