picture of Dale Everett Dale Pogue. Born June 13, 1932 at Liberty Hill, Oklahoma. Parents were Everett Edmond and Beulah Mae Hall Pogue. Growing up I lived at Fort Smith, Cavanaugh, and Centerton, Arkansas. Graduated from Fort Smith High School in 1950. Graduated from Ouachita Baptist College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas in 1954. Received an ROTC commission and served in Germany for two years. Coached the Second Armored Division small arms teams and won the Seventh Army championship.
Married Agnes Ann Maurer December 27, 1957 in Pharr, Texas. Graduated from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in 1960 with Masters in Religious Education. Had an additional year in the School of Church music. We have two children Lee Pogue of Fort Worth and Laura Pogue Duprie of Midlothian, Texas.
I have served churches in Fort Worth, Lufkin, Center, Wharton, Rockport, and Taft, Texas. I finished my full-time ministry with South Texas Children's Home as Director of Family Ministry. I enjoy fishing, hunting, birding, poetry, reading, and eating.
