In the midst of all the killer tornadoes were miracles, plain and simple. All the stories haven't been heard but some have and they are awesome. Union University in Tennessee is a Baptist School. This school has welcomed the children of Foreign Missionaries through the years. There were several of these young men and women on campus when it was hit dead center by a tornado. Though some of them lost all their possessions their lives were spared. Among them were children of dear missionary friends of ours, The Schulz's from Brazil. Clyde Schulz was one of my young people when I was youth minister in Wharton, Texas. They are praising the Lord for His protection in the devastation of that storm. Some of the students gave powerful testimonies on national television of God's protecting hand. We don't know how God works. We will never know this side of heaven. Good and godly people die in storms. Following Him demands blind trust. "Though He slay me yet will I trust Him" says it all. When He chooses to spare lives like happened at Union University we can simply say, "Thank You, Lord!"
