OLD HYMNS AND GOSPEL SONGS

I have been singing for about two hours since I came from church in Ingleside tonight. A woman at the church gave me a site and I have been on it until I am hoarse. It is cyberhymnal.org. I do not know the history of this site but it is words and music for thousands of old hymns and gospel songs. Most of the newer ones aren't on there. That is a reminder that many of the contemporary writers are more interested in making money off their writings. I know they have to do that, but somehow it seems that on a simple site like this they would simply want to have people enjoy their creations. Anyway, there are enough of the oldies to keep me singing for a long time. If you like to sing and lack a piano or words you will get both at this site. Some of the hymns move along a bit faster than we usually sing, but jump in and give it a try. cyberhymnal.org
