Wanna buy a car?

I am hot and cold selling vehicles. One day I parked a car at James and Laura's house in Rockport. It was near dark. My "For Sale" sign was rather small. I had sold it in an hour! Not long ago some of those "headed for Mexico" dealers stopped at the house. I had an old car James had given me. Clint Culp, the famous "angel" in Angel Soft commercials had given the car to James. One stipulation: He had to fly to California and get it. He did, and it served him well for a couple of years. Anyway, these guys wanted the car. I didn't even have a "for sale" sign on it. They gave me $1200.00 and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. That car never made it to the border on it's own.

Anyway, here I am with the cleanest used vehicle you could imagine. Driven to the grocery store by a little old lady. (How did it get 96,000 miles going to the store?). It is an 03' Ford Taurus with all kinds of extras. I ran a fancy ad in the Caller-times for two weeks. Cost almost a hundred dollars. I have had one call. It was Robert. He was getting it for his daughter going to college in San Antonio. Robert would call me the next afternoon and I would meet him in Portland. He lived in Robstown. He would call at 4:00 PM.. That was nine days ago. That has been my only call! I am running a one-day Labor Day special..... This beautiful Taurus can be bought for $3950.00. That's right, friends, one thousand dollars off the list price. This offer ends at 6:00 PM Labor Day. It will never be repeated. It may not be available for I am putting a sign on it and parking it in the driveway. "Viva La Mexico!".
