The Muse is Loose

It is often said "calm before the storm", but in weather we are enjoying calm after the storm. Cooler weather came to help those folks a little who have no AC etc. Nerves are still tattered and many relationships are strained to the max. However, there is calm after the storm for some. Things look better and it is easy to see how much WORSE it all could have been had IKE picked up some more steam before crashing in. To add to the stress the STOCK MARKET is also going crazy. Huge companies are on the ropes. Some are down for the count. It is all a bit frightening. Our little dab of retirement funds at the Annuity Board are disappearing way too fast. Others have lost millions. On that note let me share a few words from Jesus. It is a warning as well as a bit of encouragement. Our LORD said it to us......"Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal...BUT.... lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal......for where your treasure is there will your heart be also." Through it all our heavenly treasures are secure.
