I Have His Autograph

I have Ike's autograph. It is on a photo I took when he dedicated the golf course at the Air Force Academy. I sent it to him when he retired to Gettysburg. He graciously put his signature on the photo. It is faded now but very special.

This new IKE. Is he getting ready to place his autograph on our little home six blocks from Aransas Bay? We simply don't know. The windows are boarded thanks to some friends who helped. We are getting things together and will probably head out Thursday morning. The next few days will tell the story. Rockport hasn't been "blasted" since 1970. Past due? I guess so but why is a certain place past due? Florida has been hammered again and again. Are they past due? I think not. Anyway, I am signing off. Thanks to my dear friend Charles Fake who makes sending this blog on to you a labor of love. His equipment has been acting up so you may not get this BLOG. If you don't it is like a tree falling when no one hears it. Does it make a sound? Ta!Ta!
