The Storm

It is interesting and a bit awesome in this tech world to see nature take over. Right now millions of lives are affected and being controlled by what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico. We can react to a giant and dangerous storm but we cannot control it. GUSTAV will go where the currents and atmosphere and winds take it. The forecasters think they have it nailed down but they don't really know that. Bottom line is that God's creations are more powerful than man's. I am pleased that is so. It seems whenever we are in control things get fouled up. They become something different than what they started out. Not so with God. His plans are perfect. How can that be so of a storm leaving death and destruction in it's wake? Well, I don't have all those answers, but I do know He controls the winds and the waves and the weather. We make choices about where we live or go or do. Sometimes our choices tangle with God's choices. He wins every time. So often destructive storms replenish the oceans and the land in ways we do not see. He has long-term plans. Ours are very, very short. Come what may, GUSTAV will do his thing and we can only prepare or flee or stay.
