We have been having a great week-end in Rockport. My brother Powell, and wife Chloe, came from Little Rock to visit. That has been special. My brother-in-law Herschel Garner and riding companion Gary came on their motorcycles from Rison, Arkansas. We went to the Gospel Music Festival last night and heard some great groups. Today we have eaten and talked and talked and eaten. Tonight we are watching Arkansas- Mississippi State in basketball. It has all been so special. Gary has spent HOURS AND HOURS on the computer cleaning it up. I cannot imagine who messed it up! Certainly not me! Ha.
All of this reminds me how important family is. Family also changes. We say "goodbye" to some. We welcome others. We all know that a day will come when WE will be the one leaving the family here to join the greater family in Heaven. While we are here we should enjoy all the family moments possible. That is why this week-end has been so special for us.
