You have been on another planet if you do not know we have new political leadership. New leadership is really nothing new for we older folks. We know it in our churches, athletic programs, politics, families, schools, and restaurants. It doesn't take new leadership long to have "old problems". So how do you and I deal with them all? New leadership, from President to the local Precinct? We go on with our daily lives, and watch and pray, and make suggestions when appropriate. We know new leadership will make mistakes and try things that do not work.We know no one person can or will solve the world's problems and those of our own country.
This is the best advice I can give. It is Biblical guidance. "I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." I Timothy 2:1-2.
The primary goal for Believers is pleasing God. That is a full-time job.
