It slid from my grasp and hit on the floor;
flipped to one side to roll for the door.
Turning a bit, like a rac-ing machine,
The pill could now no longer be seen.
My bones ached a bit as I bent to see
where this escapee could possibly be.
How could a pill hide in one room ?
By nestling between the mop and a broom!
I pinched it up as quick as could be
Time is vital to retrieve it germ- free.
One little pill? Why be so thrifty?
That gyrating wheel set me back four-fifty!
You surely have had the experience ,if you take any amount of medicines. Round pills hit the floor rolling. I have seen them travel halfway across the room on a solid floor. They also have an uncanny knack of blending in to the floor design. This little diddy was inspired by that once-again dilemma of chasing an errant pill-wheel. Wish it had been a pin-wheel.
