This computer decided not to work just as we were leaving to help our kids move things from Nixon to Goliad. There was more to do than expected so we arrived back home a couple of hours ago. I am not yet trusting this machine so will hurry to give you a report from us.
Our son is OVER the swine flu. He has strep. Don't know if they are related but he is at home since it is also highly contagious. Does not feel good. We have survived all this stuff except that Ann has a hacking cough she can't get rid of.
This is the week of our Hummer Bird festival here in Rockport. I am guiding a tour bus Friday morning twice. Guests will see humming bird banding at one location. We also want to go back to Goliad Thursday evening for Dempsey's first football game of the season. It is the eighth grade team. Friday evening will plan to go again for the varsity game against Luling. They haven't won yet (Goliad) so are really need a win!
