SNOW?

We arrived home at 5:10 PM. Racing to this machine I pulled up Weather Bug and it said there is a slight chance of SNOW after midnight. SNOW? In Rockport? In South Texas? In Texas? No way!!!

We left Dallas at 8:45 under protest. Ann wanted to see SNOW and it was supposed to come today. I insisted we leave before the SNOW. We did. After about fifteen miles there it was! SNOW! A little at first; a little more around Hillsboro. A LOT of SNOW at Waco. It was clinging to trees and covering the ground solidly. SNOW came in small flakes then large ones as we left Waco. It SNOWED constantly to Cameron, Texas. It started appearing hazardous as there were huge piles of it rutted on the highway. We ate lunch in Cameron and watched the SNOW fall heavily the entire time. Plowing on we drove through the beautiful white stuff all the way to Schulenburg. They didn't have accumulations on the ground but they did have SNOW! So, Ann got plenty of SNOW on this day and we made it home too. Now wouldn't it be something if Rockport got SNOW tonight. I promise I will awaken Ann in the middle of the night to show it to her if the beautiful flakes fall. SNOW!
