Tomorrow morning at Taft I plan to have a baptismal service at the beginning. TJ Culp is the daughter of Clint and Leslie Culp. The Culps live in California where Clint is an actor. They attend the Presbyterian Church there. Clint and Leslie were married at the church in Taft. Leslie grew up there and was baptized at the church. That will make it all super special. Later in the service Lester Thorp will give a testimony about serving as a Marine in Korea at Chosin in the awful winter of 50'. Lester is TJ's grandfather. Also sharing a testimony is Patti McLead. Patti and Patrick lost their son in the war in Iraq. If there is time I will bring a few words.
Sunday evening Rockport will have a phenomenal fireworks display! It is out over the water in town and is always spectacular. We don't mind if the rain is gone for now. The Art Festival is happening and there are beautiful white tents and THOUSANDS of people. This is an EVENT!
