Tuesday night at Taft was another great event at VBS. We were only down ONE from the day before. Many kids are experiencing the Bible stories for the very first time. Some are finding the great gift of salvation through the influence and guidance of their teachers. We look forward to this Wednesday evening as being another highlight.
This morning our kids and grandkids left for Midlothian. Emily and Calvin had been here almost a week. They were happy to see Momma and Daddy. Dempsey is still in California. Saturday I will deliver "Jet", Emily's young black lab, to the other Grandpa, Jim Duprie. Jim will then pass "Jet" on to the kids somehow.
Have you ever suffered from foot in mouth disease? If you speak at any length the wrong thing will come out sooner or later. I had a good chuckle this morning from a goof I received: "The word "genius" isn't applicable in football. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein." Joe Theisman, former NFL quarterback and sports analyst. (Is Norman Albert's brother?)
